Played by Leighton Meester, the ultimate-diva-New Yorker Blair Waldorf always looks like a millionaire dollars on Gossip Girl. Living like a princess, Blair Waldorf is a socialite who every girl, including me, wants to be, mainly because of the amazing outfits she wears on the show. Based on the book by Cecily Von Ziegesar, Gossip Girl is now in its fourth season. If you love Blair as much as I do, you can follow her style from this week's episode seen here.

Alexa Chung + Madewell = Best Collab of the Year
Who doesn't admire Alexa Chung's creative yet amazing fashion sense? I've always thought highly of Alexa, and now that she has joined forces with Madewell, anyone can shadow this icon. Even though Madewell isn't in Canada, I may have to order some pieces online or visit Madwell on my next visit to the States. All of the merchandise Alexa helped to design are totally reminiscent of her style, which I adore. Here are some of my favourite pieces from the collaboration:

Accessorize
Cuff It
A great accessory for fall, cuffs add a little extra oomph to any outfit. Paired with jeans and a fur vest or a maxi skirt and long sleeve top, any outfit will look chic with the addition of a cuff. I recently spotted some new ones at Club Monaco, and bought one for one of my friends birthdays. The more popular cuffs I've noticed this fall have a vintage or ultra-feminine look, like the Tory Burch or Kate Spade cuffs seen below.

NYFW
Even though I was unable to attend New York Fashion Week, I have been constantly checking the New York Magazine website fashion section. With snapshots from all of the Spring 2011 collections, I am able to get a front row seat of all of the shows. Here is a glimpse from some of my favourite collections:

Fashion Night Out
The second annual FNO is being celebrated tonight! Unlike last year, shoppers around the world don't have to come to New York City to experience this event, but can partake in it in their own city. For all you Torontonians, some stores will be celebrating FNO tonight.
Fashion Night Out is a global initiative to promote retail, restore consumer confidence, and celebrate fashion. American and international editions of Vogue magazine coordinated the first FNO in 2009 in respective world fashion capitals. In NYC, shoppers can go from store-to-store sipping on champagne, meeting designers and celebrities, and spend lots of money. It is an event you definitely don't want to miss.
If you live in Toronto, the following stores are celebrating FNO:

Diva Designer: Michael Kors
Michael Kors
I started a new job yesterday, and it just happens to be at one of my favourite designer's stores: Michael Kors. I've always loved MK because of his reasonable prices, chic yet luxurious sportswear and clothing, and classic shoes and handbags. With three great collections, Michael Kors was even honored this year by winning the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Lifetime Achievement Award. He believes in making women feel beautiful, which has clearly helped his name evolve. For the Fall season, my MK wishlist has grown tremendously. Here are some of my favourites for this season:
Now that I work for Michael Kors, I will be sure to update everyone on new merchandise and upcoming sales!

They're Not Yours, They're MY FERRAGAMO'S!
Over the past couple of years, designers have been collaborating with stores or other designers to create more reasonably priced collections. This trend has benefited fashionistas who desire the hottest styles but prefer not to pay the exorbitant prices. One designer who has recently jumped on the couture-for-less train is Salvatore Ferragamo. Just launched, My Ferragamo is Ferragamo's new collection of footwear made for the contemporary elegant woman. Combining comfort and fun, My Ferragamo consists of flats, wedges, loafers, and boots in a variety of fun colours.
Lucky for me, while I was shopping at Holt Renfrew this past weekend, I spotted a few pairs of My Ferragamo's. It was like love at first site; I bought a pair of black leather flats. For under $400, I couldn't say no. I can't wait to wear these baby's...

They are super comfortable, and I love how perfectly they fit my feet. Even though I decided on the black pair, there is no doubt that I will purchase one of the fun coloured heels or flats for springtime.
