Cloudy Days

MICHAEL Michael Kors Fur Vest, Ooyoo Black Top, J Brand Pants, KORS Michael Kors Vena Wedges, MICHAEL Micheal Kors Hamilton Handbag, Vintage Chain Necklace, Tiffany's Heart Bracelet, MICHAEL Michael Kors Watch.

After coming home from a MK meeting Sunday morning, I had nothing planned for the day except to relax. It was a gloomy day, but still pretty mild outside. The outfit in these images includes some of my favourite fall/winter staples. My J Brand Houlihan pants are still my favourite purchase of the year; I've even been considering to splurge and buy a couple more colors... Also, now that I work at Michael Kors, majority of my paycheck goes straight back to the store. Gotta love working at a designer retail store!

I am a huge fan of Rebecca Minkoff's edgy yet flirty style. Her handbags are classic yet add some playfulness to any outfit. Rebecca's career started with a five-piece apparel line in 2001. In 2005, she decided to experiment with handbags, and that's how the iconic "Morning After Bag" was born. In honor of Thanksgiving in the US, you lucky Americans can participate in Rebecca Minkoff's Black Friday online sale. Starting Friday at midnight through Monday the 29th, shoppers will get free ground domestic shipping on orders over $100. Happy Thanksgiving and shop lots!!

In honor of my favorite Oprah episode of the season, I decided to share my own favorite things. Oprah's two part special always brings me to tears, (yes, I'm a sucker for those kinds of things) and she truly is an amazing woman. Even though I can't provide all my readers with a cruise or a car, here are some of the things I love.

Back again for another season, studs are everywhere: jewelery, clothing, shoes, and hair accessories. However, today, studs are less punky and more trendy. I got a Tory Burch studded bracelet almost a year ago, and I still love it and wear it today. If you're into the stud look, a great way to accessorize an outfit is to layer (studded) bracelets with a watch. The more you layer, the better it will look!

Michael Kors does iPads

Now I MUST get an iPad. It appears that Mr. MK also jumped on  the bandwagon and created iPad cases. Although we don't have these cases in store, Apple sells them on their website. The style is Jet Set, which is available in stores in a very similar wallet (which I have and LOVE). Made from leather, the case comes in 4 different colours, and will make your iPad much more chic and fashionable.

It even has a built-in stand. For $134, I'm on board. Oh, how I love you Michael Kors!

Fall Fun

Ooyoo Black Shirt, Holt Renfrew Fur Vest, Patterson J. Kincaid Skirt, Forever 21 Clogs, Yumi Kim Bracelet, MICHAEL Michael Kors purse, Vintage Gold Chains.

This is my favourite time of the year. I love going for walks and seeing the leaves change colours to shades of green, orange, yellow, and red. With my new Nikon camera, I've been having fun using the different features to take pictures of Toronto's pretty fall scenery, which won't last much longer. These photos were taken outside of my house, and I thought the contrast of the leaves against my new Patterson J. Kincaid deep purple skirt was a fun combination! Happy fall!

Stop'n' Style

Lanvin for H&M

This long awaited collaboration is finally hitting stores in Canada and the US on November 20th. The women's collection consists of 30 pieces and 15 accessories ranging from clothing, jewelry, hats, handbags, makeup, and footwear. There is also a men's collection, consisting of 25 pieces and 10 accessories. The collections look amazing, and I can't wait to see this wicked collaboration in person. I especially have my eye on the one-shoulder ruffle yellow dress. Better mark your calendar, $200 Lanvin dresses will be flying off the shelves.

Here is a sneak peak from the Lookbook:

Follow Her Style: Sophia Bush

I've been a fan of Sophia Bush ever since her early days on One Tree Hill. Her love for fashion and style is not only visible on screen, but also in her everyday life. Seen above, this photo was taken at LAX on October 30th. A comfortable yet trendy traveling outfit, Sophia always looks great head-to-toe. Follow her style with: Balenciaga Sunglasses, an Urban Outfitters Fur Vest, BB Dakota Jeggings, and MIA Boots.

NYC Weekend

This past weekend I was chosen to attend the Teen Vogue Fashion University seminar in NYC. It was an amazing weekend, and I got to listen to seminars from Anna Wintour, Vera Wang, editors of Teen Vogue, some famous bloggers, and many other talented professionals in the fashion industry. I was so honoured to attend this seminar, and loved meeting the hundreds of other attendees at this event.

Besides attending the seminar, some fine dining and shopping was done. Duh. I love going to NYC. I'm always so sad to leave, but hopefully I will call it my home some time in the future.

LINE S/S 2010

Last night Heritage Court was filled with Toronto fashionistas, designers, and celebrities sipping on wine, getting their hair or makeup done, and sampling free products. Located in the CNE, LG Fashion Week is off to a great start. I got the pleasure of seeing LINE Knitwear's show, and I was thoroughly impressed with their Spring/Summer collection.

Filled with pastels, neutrals, tie-dye prints, and of course lots of knits, LINE succeeded in creating a beautiful collection. All of the pieces were perfectly styled with wedge sandals (some with socks), high ponytails, and bangles. All in all, I give the collection 4.5 stars and will definitely look out for it in stores.

Diva Designer

My latest obsession is American Retro. After visiting Carbon this weekend and seeing their new American Retro merchandise, I fell in love. Although it is a bit pricey, it is sooo worth it. AR was founded in 2002 by Parisian brothers David and Gregory Pariente. Their collection is made with high quality fabrics, and each piece has intricate detailing and creativity. American Retro is available online at Shopbop, or if you live in Toronto at Carbon or Andrew's. If you live in the States, it is also available at Bloomingdales.

Marc by Marc Jacobs does iPads

I've always wanted an iPad, but now I NEED one. This MJ logo-printed case is so adorable, and I love all four colours. It's great that Marc by Marc Jacobs, and other designers too (see here), are up to date on their technology accessories; It makes technology that much more fun for fashionistas.

For $58, you get a protective-trendy-designer case. Not too bad.

The iPad is officially on my Chanukah list, along with this case in pink. Thanks mom and dad.

In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness month, here are some items that will help you show your support for such a worthy cause. Everyone knows someone who has breast cancer, and it's important that everyone is aware of this month. Whether you donate, run for a cause, or simply wear pink, any support is helpful.

Sparkles and Socks

I was so excited when my mom found this fur shawl. I pinned it together to make a vest, and have worn it with jeans and cargos. It's a super fun piece, and keeps me warm in Toronto's chilly weather.
